(Closings may occur from time to time because of YMCA swim meets. Changes will be posted in the YMCA lobby.)
Facility Closing and Class Cancellations: Programs may be cancelled, or the YMCA facility closed due to uncontrollable conditions. Closings are placed on the telephone answering machine. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel classes due to minimum enrollments.
Holiday Closings: The YMCA is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. The YMCA closes at 1 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve. The YMCA is closed during the last week of August and reopens after Labor Day for annual maintenance.
YMCA Refund Policy: No refund of membership dues will be granted for unexpired terms. There are no refunds on classes or programs once classes begin. Class fees will be refunded in full if the class is cancelled.
Class Registration Policy: Sign-ups for all classes must be done by the day before classes are scheduled to begin. (Please see Aquatic schedule for aquatic program cut-off dates.) The number of participants determines if any of the programs will be held.
YMCA programs are open to the public. There are higher program fees for non-members. Non-members participating in a YMCA program only have access to the program area and equipment used in that class.
YMCA members have access to the gym, track, aerobic classes, weight room, nautilus equipment, all cardiovascular/aerobic equipment, the swimming pool and aquatics fitness classes. There are age limits for some areas of the YMCA and for certain equipment. Please ask about these age restrictions.
YMCA offers different rates for the following membership categories: Youth, Adult, Family, Senior Adult, Senior Married Couple. There is a one-time joiner’s fee.
